Entertainment is a mind diversion from a
hectic daily routine. It can be any event or activity that grabs audience
attention and provides them with laughter, pleasure and delight. Entertainment
has always been a part of culture and tradition irrespective of the country,
time or place. For centuries entertainment has been evolved into different
forms and branched off according to different purposes.

of Entertainment
v Banquets:
Since ancient times banquets have been
commonly used by nobles as form of entertainment.
v Music:
Used as background for storytelling, it
is divided into many genres depending on rhythm, performance and instrument.
v Games:
Games are the competitive activities
with specific rules that one engages into for the purpose of amusement.
v Reading

When various forms of entertainment became
too expensive for common folks, reading became a reliable form of
entertainment.
v Theatre
The stage and space left out in front of
it for audience is known as theatre. Theatre performances include Plays,
Musical operas, Monologues, Pantomimes etc.
v Storytelling
Storytelling has always been proved to
be fascinating for travelers. Some of the long-lasting stories have been
developed into books, films, music and games to increase their entertainment
value.
Human mind and body needs to be
refreshed as they work constantly. Entertainment can help people to overcome
the stress level in their daily routine. Different people have different choice
of entertainment some people prefer listening music while others playing games.
As everything have some positive and negative aspects so people should go for
the things that help them improve their health rather than destroying it.
